lady hitchcock and the cherry blossom tree

Petals joyful red
Snow cannot hold back their life
Hopeful comes this spring
Lights the erubescent cloak
I channel Miss Hitchcock's shoes
I'm more aligned with high heels than haikus, but this illustration by Dan-ah Kim left me in a state of hopeless adoration (crimson cape = clincher) and I thought to attempt an ode in classic haiku form. For the poets reading this now, I invite you to better this novice by writing a haiku about Lady Hitchcock and sending it to me. I will post my favourites below.
Note: Traditional haikus consist of three lines in a 5-7-5 syllable format. Mine is in the "tanka" format which has an extra two lines consisting of 7 syllables each. Either are quite acceptable :)
She, cloaked in scarlet
'Neath the cherry blossom bough
Contemplates desire
Moist fog breathes wet dawn
thick wood mingles with blossoms
bursting crisp crimson
cherry sense in fog
guides overhead through shadow
cloaked in cherry grace,
leather steeps to snow-bound sky
I bow, and wait, and listen...
-maya
merci!

well I tried :P

The illustration is wonderful. In some ways it reminds me of Aubrey Beardsley.
