So, how to afford travel if you’re not independently wealthy? (which I'm definitely not!)

If you love travelling as much as I do, then you’ve just got to do it, and you have to find some way to fund it. Here are some of the jobs I have done and continue to do, which allow me to see the world: legal transcription, cat sitting, costume work for films, midwife's apprentice, IT work, copy editing, bartending, photography and filming for educational programs, waitressing, waitressing, and oh- did I say waitressing?
