The Miu Miu fall collection was a disappointment. I'm a die hard Miu Miu fan, and with all the hype over the ultra-exclusive location (Laperouse restaurant) and guest list (Vogue received only 3 invitations- mon dieu!), and Miuccia's words about the event being "special and important", I was hoping for a stunning Parisian debut. However, with the exception of a few dresses and black jackets, the clothing was a perverse mix of shapeless coats, lampshade skirts and rough fur. Oh well, I'll cross my fingers for next year.
